Pwll Y Wrach

Pwll Y Wrach Nature Reserve is just a mile from the front door and a 3 mile round trip. There is a small car parking area for a few cars and an accessible path for most of it, however the final few hundred metres to the waterfall is not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.

You can find some more information at the http://www.breconbeacons.org/pwll-y-wrach

Below is an example route from the door on the 02 March 2018 – #beastfromtheeast and Storm Emma weekend which seen the area hit by the most snow in a decade and covered by a Red Weather Warning. Stark contrast to what it is the summer, where you can actually enter the ‘Witches Pool’ and shower under the waterfalls.
